It has an ebony fingerboard and tailpiece, and the body is made of "more select woods" that has an unusual amount of beautiful curl in the maple. These better quality woods are chosen for their appearance,and the ES9 has a clear blonde finish to show off these woods. These instruments receive additional attention and are quite attractive. The ES9 has a very nice uniform blonde semi gloss finish. Due to the expensive cost of shipping on this item, it is only available for local pickup only.
